FAQ

Which hat should I choose?

The washed trucker cap is soft cotton with a mesh back; the stretch-fit trucker is structured with an elastic band; the washed cotton cap and the dad hat are unstructured, with an adjustable strap; the rope cap is light ripstop with rope trim; the snapback is structured, with a flat visor and a snap closure; the corduroy cap is soft, unstructured cotton corduroy with an adjustable buckle; the bucket hat is cotton twill with a little stretch and a soft brim all round; and the rib beanie is a snug, warm rib knit, with the bird on its folded cuff. Every one is one size, and each page gives its measurements. Shop the hats.

How are the designs made?

Every bird is machine embroidered in coloured thread: on the front of a cap or a bucket hat, on the folded cuff of a beanie, at the centre of the chest of a tee, crewneck or hoodie, or on the front of a tote. The one exception is the Field Guide tee: printed big on the back, with a small logo on the front.

How long does delivery take?

Your piece is made after you order, then shipped to you. Orders arrive between 30 Oct and 9 Nov, with free tracked shipping.

Where do you ship?

To 74 countries, including Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Switzerland, Norway, Singapore, the UAE and Saudi Arabia; the full list appears at checkout. Shipping is free on every order.

Are there customs charges?

The carrier may collect VAT, duties or clearance fees on delivery under your country’s rules. These are government or carrier charges, not ours.

How do I choose my size?

The caps, the bucket hat, the beanie and the tote are one size, listed on each page. Every tee, crewneck and hoodie has a table in centimetres in the size guide, also linked under the sizes on the piece’s page. The tee and the crewneck are a relaxed fit: order your usual size. The hoodie is relaxed, with dropped shoulders: check its measurements before you choose. Or measure a similar piece you like, laid flat, and compare.

Why do some sizes cost more?

The largest sizes take more fabric, so they cost a little more. The exact price shows when you pick a size, and shipping is free either way.

Where are the pieces made?

A specialist production partner makes them at one of its facilities around the world, then ships them straight to you.

How do I care for my piece?

Each piece’s care is on its page. Caps and hats are spot cleaned with a damp cloth; clothing is washed cold and inside out, with no bleach, hung to dry, and never ironed over the design.

Can I change or cancel my order?

Yes, within 2 hours of ordering, before production starts. Write to birds@miniblank.com.

Can I return or exchange?

Each piece is made for you after you order, so we don’t accept returns or exchanges for size, colour or a change of mind. If a piece arrives damaged, defective or with a production error, or it is the wrong item, we send a free replacement or refund you. Write within 14 days of delivery with a clear photo.
