The designPūteketekeEvery piece with this designA pūteketeke, the Australasian crested grebe, with its black double crest raised over a chestnut ruff and a white neck. Found across Australia and in New Zealand, mostly on the South Island, where pairs court each other with a mirrored dance.
Material and embroidery
55% polyester, 43% cotton and 2% spandex. A structured six-panel, mid-profile front, a curved bill, a mesh back and an elastic band in place of a snap. Machine embroidered on the front in 4 thread colours, about 7 cm across. An original design drawn by Birds by miniblank.
Size
One size fits most: a closed back with an elastic band that stretches to fit.
Shipping and replacements
Shipping is free and tracked. The carrier may collect import tax or clearance fees on delivery. If your piece arrives damaged, defective, with a production error or as the wrong item, write to us within 14 days of delivery with a clear photo and we will send a replacement or refund you.
Care
Spot clean with a damp cloth and cold water, then air dry; do not iron over the embroidery.
