Upright on a stick, an Indian roller shows a turquoise crown, a lilac throat and breast, a brown back, a blue wing with a pale band and a blue tail. Seen on wires and bare branches in open farmland from Iraq, Oman and the UAE across India to Sri Lanka.
Material and embroidery
80% cotton and 20% recycled polyester fleece, brushed inside. Dropped shoulders, a lined pullover hood with no drawcord, a front pocket and ribbed cuffs. Machine embroidered at the centre of the chest in 6 thread colours, about 10 cm tall. An original design drawn by Birds by miniblank.
Shipping and replacements
Shipping is free and tracked. The carrier may collect import tax or clearance fees on delivery. If your piece arrives damaged, defective, with a production error or as the wrong item, write to us within 14 days of delivery with a clear photo and we will send a replacement or refund you.
Care
Machine wash cold, inside out, with similar colours (the brushed inside can shed a little lint at first); no bleach; hang to dry; do not iron over the embroidery.
